I wasn't going to say anything but after running across this little gem I could refrain no more! This winter in WI has been brutally cold but not totally ridiculous in the snow department. November saw the most snow so far (about 20" in one day!). This guy needs to get out to Colorado or something - and drink less coffee...
I really miss George Carlin...

I don't normally pay much attention to these types of clips as I always have to wonder how much editing went into the final posted work. And it would seem that usually the interviewer comes across as condescending. This one is worth noting I think. It would seem that everyone on this one has been issued the same talking points from the same source. Really makes me wonder...

This is probably the best article ever written by this guy. He used to live in Key West and I seriously enjoy his writings. I highly recommend his eBook "Democracy, the Painted Whore".

Ever wonder what is in the Congressional Record?

I'm hoping that if you're American you understand that everything ever said in Congress is written down somewhere. I posted the video below this one and then thought to myself some visitors may not know who James Traficant is. In this video you can read a large part of a speech he gave on the floor of the house back in the 90's.

James Traficant was released from prison yesterday. It will be interesting to see if he joins the current fray or quietly returns to private life.

"...taking five days and more than 50 hours, as director Chris Palmer and crew attempted to synchronize scenes from each of the song’s lyrics (30 in all) with a passing Chicago elevated train. We have no idea what any of this has to do with drinking beer, but when a clip is this entertaining, who cares?"

bin Laden's FBI Wanted Poster - notice anything missing? If you actually call the FBI and ask them why there is no mention of 9/11 on it you will be informed that the FBI has no evidence implicating him in the events of 9/11. There's never been a Grand Jury convened in the matter, no Federal investigation, no testimony from anyone anywhere. If that doesn't strike you as somewhat strange watch this:
Very insightful interview.

Listen to what Micheal Lewis (best selling author) has to say about the current economic mess. This is the most insightful interview I've heard on this subject yet. You will gain a very real understanding of how this all happened. If you are a Republican you will gain some insight into why blindly following what your team says is foolish. If you are a Democrat you will gain some insight into why blindly following what your team says is foolish.
Fast forward to about the 30 minute mark. The first half is about a book he recently wrote that has nothing to do with the economic crises.

Update: The video was taken off of YouTube, but you can watch the trailer and/or purchase the DVD here. (For a ridiculous amount of money for a 9 minute film...)
1976. Paris, France. Early Summer morning. Mercedes 450SEL with a monstrous 6.9-litre V-8. Less than 9 minutes. Un-flipping believable!
French filmmaker Claude Lelouch was arrested after the release of this short film. He later did admit he was behind the wheel. The audio was dubbed over with the sounds of his own Ferrari 275GTB.
