"If a nation values anything more than freedom, it will lose its freedom; and the irony of it is that if it is comfort or money that it values more, it will lose that, too."
-Somerset Maugham

What exactly is money?

I bet you don't know. I know you think you know. But you really don't know. Not many really know. Out of those that do know, most won't tell you that they know. What they know allows them to make a whole bunch of money that is created by them out of thin air. The value of this money comes from the fact that it is all debt based. This debt involves interest and that interest is paid by you and me. Why? Because we let it happen. Spend time on this page to find out what money is, how the entire monetary system was designed and is played by a very few very powerful people and why if 'We the People' don't educate ourselves as to how it all really works and change it - we are doomed to be poor.

How much of your money goes towards stuff that you don't benefit from? The list is endless. There are some in this country that are very concerned about their money going towards things like Social Security or welfare checks and food stamps for the less fortunate of society. There are others that are concerned that their money goes towards bombs and bullets that kill innocent folks in other countries and there are Americans that are concerned that their money isn't really money at all and their government knows the almost 100 year old party is about to end.

Watch the short videos below to get a basic crash course in how money happened in the good ol' US of A.
"The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money."
-Alexis DeTocqueville (1805 - 1859)
Another crash course - less than 10 minutes of your life to find out the history of the Federal Reserve Bank. It's not really federal, has no reserves and doesn't conduct transactions with regular people like you and me.
Books that you really should read to understand why things are the way they are and how we can change it:
"Permit me to issue and control the money of a nation, and I care not who makes its laws."
- Mayer Amschel Rothschild
Now here is a man that, in my opinion, is about as honest and patriotic as one could be in these times. He has a very unique academic background and has his priorities straight with a doubt. First read his very short bio - About Chris Martenson. Then take his video Crash Course. I have placed the first video of the course here so you can get a feel for this man's integrity. If you really want to get a very real understanding of the current state of the planet in economic terms, don't miss this. The whole series of videos is about two hours. Educate yourself. His website is a prime example of the potential the internet has towards changing the collective intelligence of planet Earth. Your government doesn't like information like this being freely disseminated. Get it while you can... If you possess at least an eighth grade education, I can guarantee you that you will find this information completely fascinating.
"The maxim of buying nothing without the money in our pockets to pay for it would make of our country one of the happiest on earth."
- Thomas Jefferson
Watch this video to get a very good introduction to how another very important piece of our nation's financial puzzle is gamed. This is part one and you'll most certainly want to catch part two after seeing this. You'll learn how greedy the players really are and how the SEC has simply looked the other way as these greedy players robbed and pillaged on a daily basis. In the end you'll see why the stock market is just another way for insiders to make a lot of money at the expense of the ignorant masses that make up "regular investors." This information hopefully will make you really mad even if you don't invest in the stock markets. This is the exact kind of greed that led to our current economic crisis.
“We must especially beware of that small group of selfish men who would clip the wings of the American Eagle in order to feather their own nests.”
-Franklin D. Roosevelt
