I think this Gentleman is the most well informed and thoughtful commentator on the airwaves today. I was fortunate enough to get to see his show live in Madison, WI in the Summer of 2009 and became even more of a fan that day. I look forward to reading more of his books in the very near future.



The most popular internet discussion board I know of. I like this spot for its substantive value. This is also the home of the slogan - "Freedom isn't free, you have to pay attention."


Don't take anything you hear in a politician's speech, a pundit's commentary or a political advertisement seriously until you check the facts. If you are not amazed at how facts are skewed, embellished and simply omitted, you are hopelessly partisan and a part of the problem.


One of the most important web sites on the internet in my opinion. It isn't perfect and it changes everyday, is available in a multitude of languages and can be edited to by anyone. It operates off donations and is probably the most free source of info out there. Both literally and figuratively.

Very thoughtful and well organized web site. The contributors are excellent commentators without any sarcasm. All the articles include so many links to sources you can end up all over the web for days following the trail of one story.

I think Alex Jones is somewhat of a windbag and his site is way over commercialized. Nothing wrong with a guy making a living, but I have to wonder about a person's intentions when they are telling you bad things are coming and turn around and try to sell you some protection. Having said that, I have picked up some information here I simply couldn't find anywhere else. Verbose, but interesting to me.

These guys have been around for awhile. Advocates for consumer safety among other things. Their claim to fame is getting the Nixon tapes released to the public. A great feature on this site is being able to write your congresspersons. Just write your note, fill in your info and they take care of the rest. You don't even need to know who your Representatives are.



Since 1850. Owned by a private foundation, not one of the media giants. Unique perspective on politics, society, the environment, and culture. Emphasizing fine writing and original thought; the essays, articles and reporting here come from some of the most distinguished names in American letters.


Travel the planet via the world wide web and find out what's in the news from pretty much anywhere. Extensive archive of news articles, in-depth reports and analysis on issues which are barely covered by the mainstream media. Recommended as a resource by the American Library Association (ALA).

What Really Happened? A virtual ticker tape of articles and updates from the US and around the world. Updated almost hourly some days. Follow this site for a week and you'll have even more questions.



The original internet newspaper. Although this site is definitely liberal leaning, you won't find any blind rhetoric from most of the contributors here. A lot of liberals and progressives don't agree with everything the current administration is up to and aren't afraid to say it here.

He's back! This is an excellent source of hard data. Ross takes the raw numbers and arranges it all in very easy to understand charts and graphs. Browse all the graphs, read some very good commentary and start really wondering - "WTF?!"

A project of Sonoma State University since 1976, this little spot on the internet is more than worth a look. Check the "Top 25 for 2009" for some eye-popping articles and the "Corporate Media Ownership" link to learn who really owns what companies and who exactly is on their corporate boards. Some pretty amazing stuff here!

If you don't take the time to look at any of the web sites on this page, you should at the very least take a peek at this one. Aaron Russo was (he died in 2007) the quintessential Patriot in my opinion. He produced the movie America: Freedom to Fascism on the Taxes page of this web site.


Explore the human side of something many people look at like they are watching a movie. Our country has been continually at war since WWII. There's big money in war and it's the people's money that goes to pay for it all. Our government is very good at scaring the hell out of us and making sure we feel like there really is a need to blow up folks in far away places that most of us can't even find on a map.


Libertarianism at it's finest! Individual liberty and the individual responsibility that individual liberty requires.

Set up in an easy to browse blog type format, go here to catch up on more news that will never make it to your nightly TV news. Revolutionary Politics is a website that promotes telling the truth as a revolutionary act.



I love foreign news sites for the simple fact they aren't owned by U.S. corporations. Articles and interviews that dig into subjects and ask questions that are purposely excluded from the mainstream media outlets in this country. This organization is controversial to most Americans because it's owned by Arabs which leads the most ignorant of the masses to believe it's anti-American.



The original "dig deep" blog. John Marshall presents the facts behind all the "talking points" from the mainstream media echo chamber.

Great site to keep up with the cluelessness of many law enforcement officials nationwide. There is nothing illegal about taking photographs in public. Nor should there be.
