All U.S. citizens need to read this book. The IRS is pretty successful at getting most books that dissent against the income tax banned as promoting "illegal" tax shelters. Not this one. It contains all the information one needs to claim all payroll taxes deducted from your paycheck back at the end of the year. You can spend many months exploring this topic and perusing actual refund checks and correspondence between private citizens and the IRS at this website - Lost Horizons (you can also purchase the book here). You will either be amazed at how you've been duped your whole life, or amazed at the courage regular citizens like yourself have displayed in facing down the all powerful IRS. The law is on your side but the IRS does not want you to know it! By studying the above website and reading the book you will learn that a direct tax on your labor is diametrically opposed to the Founders idea of freedom, there is no law that requires most Americans to pay an income tax and there is not even a law that requires you to have a social security number. Cracking The Code is an investigation onto what the tax code actually says and how you as an individual can claim the very freedom the Founding Fathers enshrined in the Constitution for you.

It should also be noted that she (or her lawyers) never read the book I mentioned above and the Jury that convicted her was comprised exclusively of IRS agents and government employees. "Failure to file" is not part of claiming your freedom unfortunately. You have to file to legally rebut the government's false assertions. It really is a huge game that we all play with the IRS and you don't know the rules. The powers that be know many Americans are waking up and claiming their freedom. You may recall a few presidential candidates in the last election cycle promoting a national sales tax. This idea is in direct response to the fact that too many people are learning the truth about the income tax.
